*The Riv is referred to as a 71 in the first season and a 72 in the second season (mostly) but Ray doesn't blow up the original until The Man Who Knew Too Little (episode 114). Then in Duel (episode 138) when he is driving the third one, he again refers to it as a 71.
*Keep track of the windows and layout of Fraser's apartment.
*This little peice of information comes from imbd.com : Fraser is named after the Fraser River in British Columbia, Canada. Diefenbaker is maned after John diefenbaker, Prime Minister of Canada, 1957-63. Thatcher is named after Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister of the UK, 1979-90. *[from Ken Quinn. They towed the Riv whenever you see the interior. Anton Tykodi drove it when you see long shots, but Ken drove it while on fire in Burning Down The House.
100 Pilot
*First time we see Diefenbaker in the light plane flying over the dam, he is a lovely white husky. The next time we see him, at the murder scene, he has magically transformed into a dark gray husky.
*Just how did Fraser know that the American hunters were driving a jeep when all he found was a boot print not tire marks?
*Buck Frobisher. Why wasn't he at Bob, his best friend's funeral?
*Fraser gives the guy at the airport $100 but throughout the first few episodes he never has any American money with him at all. This is why he is always borrowing off Ray. And just how did the guy know where Fraser worked to return the money?
*How does Fraser get away with walking along the freeway into the city from the airport?
*If Fraser is so polite, as we have come to know, why does he snatch the case number from the desk sergeant's hands and not even thank him for his help? Very un-Fraser.
*Maria says that she has been married for five years yet the children round the table appear to be eight or nine.
*Fraser asks Ray, when they are sitting in the car, where Frankie Drake's address is located. Mrs. Drake has only just told him that her husband is in Chinatown. (she wrote something down and handed it to him...I think.)
*Why does Fraser kick doors in? Do they not have door handles in Canada?
*It is strange that Fraser is in the hospital ward with Ray while Ray's family are waiting outside. Surely it should be Fraser who should be outside?
*How did Gerrard get to Chicago so quickly? He is there in the hospital to tell Ben he will have to face a fitness hearing.
*Why do they insist on using the really short stuntman to double for Paul?
*I find it very hard to believe that Gerrard managed to kill Drake with one shot - his hands are very shaky.
*When Fraser is looking through his dad's stuff, he finds several war medals. Bob Fraser was only 57 when he died. World War II has been over for well over 50 years. Did Bob join as a toddler? (other wars? Maybe Bob's dad?)
*Ben's hair appears to be short at the back one minute, long the next. It's short when he's walking around the cabin then long when he opens the door for Ray.
*Just how did Ray know where the cabin was and how did he get there? No sign of any transport. (Small community. Hitched a ride like a good American would know how to do. And Ben's cabin doesn't seem to be that far from where he was taking to Gerrard on the paved road.)
*Why does Ben shout Dief over at feeding time. The wolf is deaf.
*Fraser calls his team of huskies 'girls' then later 'guys'.
*Ray finds a branch to throw at the thugs when there are no trees in sight.
*Fraser rolls off top of van that Drake is driving, see the flags in the background? Aren't those from P&P? Compare to the ones in P&P when Ray and Fraser are coming down the hill dressed as car salesmen...isn't that the parking structure from Pilot? * Ray is wearing a brace on left wrist, but able to use his fingers, he carries the sling and jacket out with him, once Fraser tells the dogs "ok guys" and after haw! he has both on. Uses left arm fully extended (the brace isnt' there. You can see all of his shirt sleeve. The sling is always there. *Ray is wearing a ring on his little finger *Ray zaps the alarm on the Mercedes. Dief is in the car. The group of guys are 'watching' the car. You can hear to alarm go off and Dief shows up a few minutes later. *Altho Ray originally drove the Mercedes in the Pilot, David talked to the producers and it was agreed that a more hip, less conventional car was needed to complement the flashy detective] *Ray calls him Benny while climbing the stairs to the Dentist's office. Later he asks him what's your first name.I question this one. It does sound like he says Benny, but watching it with the closed captions on, it says Rays says "My bet is there ain't a lot of highspeed chases in Canada, huh?" But listen for yourself and let me know what you think *Vito Rezza, Tony, also plays the same character in They Eat Horses Don't They, Victoria's Secret and Burning Down the House *How did Ray think up the trap with the fishing line? Back up to the explosion at the apartment. *The blue shirt Ray is wearing when he first arrives at the cabin is on Fraser just before he left the cabin for Chicago again. *Gerard was arraigned in Toronto, see the red streetcar ding-
dinging its way down the street behind Fraser? *The guy in the bar with the bottle is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list) *Gene Mack plays the Desk Sergent. He is also in the third season, episode Mountie and Soul as Mason Dixon. *The airport hustler, Jack Nicholsen also plays Caulfeild in The Wild Bunch and Joey in Odds. *Phillip Williams playing Herb Lantrell also is in Bird in the Hand as Lloyd P. Nash Barry Kennedy plays Bert Jenkins and in Ladies' Man is Eddie Polito *Dan Lett, Dr. Weingarten is later Carver Dunn in Mountie Sings the Blues
101 Free Willie *Just before the cleanser salesman comes into frame, there is a shot of Fraser from the Pilot where his strap is on the wrong shoulder. *The Salesman is Rummy Bishop. He is also Mr. Rubins in Eye For An Eye and Uncle Lorenzo in Some Like It Red. *The construction worker is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list)
102 Diefenbaker's Day Off. * He unpacks milk from his shopping and puts it it the cupboard. Yes, the cupboard...after all he is a mountie..he drinks a glass with his dinner in The Edge and at the dinner with his dad in Victoria's Secret *Eric Fink, the Maitre D also is in Invitation to Romance. He's the marriage clerk. When Fraser first saves Charlie, the street name is Centre St. not Center St.
103 Manhunt
*When Buck turns up at the Consulate with two horses and asks Benny to join him, Ben does so at once without waiting to come off duty. Bad Benny!
*Ben asks Buck if he needs money or a plane ticket. Exactly how is he going to pay for them?
*Why is Ray carrying a pot plant when he comes back to the hospital room? Does he think it'll cheer Benny up?
*Ray buys Benny some sweets then eats them himself in the elevator. Charming friend he is!
*Knowing that Buck has gone after Geiger, Fraser changes back into his uniform so that he in turn can go after Buck. Changes back into the uniform he was wearing when he was knifed, the uniform that should have blood all over it. Yet, when we next see him at the warehouse, his uniform is pristine.
*Watch the warehouse scene. Ray initially goes after the blond guy with his ordinary gun. Then he stops by a control panel and removes his back-up gun. Has he run out of bullets? If so, continuity should have said so!
*[TYK Ruthie]Fraser wears blue, not red thermals to bed *Ray rushes to Fraser's side after asking Buck how he is, like he just heard yet Fraser asks him how Dief is (Dief was on the roof with Fraser) and Ray says he rented him Rin Tin Tin *Buck has seven stars on his sleeve, Fraser has two *Woman at bingo front row, left side is also in Deal - at the Luxington Hotel and the 'Beauty' ribbon wearer next to do Jolly's room in Victoria's Secret. *George Buze who plays George Welker also plays Pete in Starman. *Donald Fleckser who plays Donald also plays the motel clerk in A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby. *The guy in the bar that grabs Ray is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list)
104 They Eat Horses Don't They? *Ray asks Welsh if his wife shops at Pettits, then in Chi Holiday (ep 107) Welsh is taking the Pathologist Esther Pearson to the opera
*Other episodes have established the fact that Fraser carries Canadian dollars occasionally but never American, preferring to turn big Mountie eyes at Ray to procure funds. Yet, at the supermarket he just happens to have US dollars about his person.
*I know Fraser's powers of perception are extraordinary but really! From seeing the non-prescription medicine Mrs Gamez leaves behind, medicine bought at a supermarket not a pharmacy, and perhaps by overhearing her say Mario is sick, Fraser knows instantly that he should call an ambulance. (Wait! He was just smelling horse meat and they way the woman, foreign to boot is so upset, he knows she isn't just treating a tummy ache.)
*Fraser decides to go to the horse Auction and tells Ray to call him if he hears anything. Call him? On what? He has no phone.
*Tony barges into the bathroom to brush his teeth yet Ma Vecchio clearly states that they have not eaten yet. So, Tony cleans his teeth before supper? Or is that an excuse to get into the bathroom with everyone else?
*Ray believes the bad guys will storm into the meat locker and gun him and Fraser down. So what does he do? Expends all his ammunition on trying to shoot the lock.
*Dief tackles the bad guy to the floor at the end, but how did he get out of the Riv. When Ray and Fraser left earlier, they certainly didn't leave the car door open or even a window ajar.
*Vito Rezza, Tony, also plays the same character in Pilot, Victoria's Secret and Burning Down the House *Al Waxman plays Vince Leggett. He is also in Dead Men Don't Throw Rice as Van Zandt. Al also is in the new series Power Play along with Dean McDermott and Gordon Pincent
105 Pizza and Promises *Opening gambit. Watch both Ray and Lenny trip over something on the ground. Ray looks like he's about to do the splits. *Ray calls in the theft as happening at East Racine, not West Racine where Fraser lives. *Fraser is wearing the gold chain that Ray has worn in previous episodes. From this point on, Ray wears a cross *Compare to the ones in P&P when Ray and Fraser are coming down the hill dressed as car salesmen...isn't that the parking structure from Pilot?
*When Ben Falls on top of Lenny's green Comet (license plate number RCW 139!), the view from inside the car shows the interior mirror is missing while the outside shots show the mirror in place.
*Ray describes Ben's apartment as 221 East Racine.
*When Ray and Benny abandon the Riv to search for Dief and the Comet on foot, Ray leaves the Riv unlocked. Would Ray really leave his pride and joy so vulnerable? I think not.
*When the boys sell the vehicle to the old lady for $100 instead of the asking price of $400, Ray demands $300 (American) from Ben. Presumably someone paid up as our heroes got the job as salesmen but I cannot believe Benny would have that much cash on him, American or otherwise.
*The Comet is re-stolen with Ray in the trunk. The car stops, Ray tries to get out then reports to Benny that the car is moving again. How does Ben know that the driver hasn't got back in? He and Frannie were too far away to see. After all, they didn't see the comet go into the water, and, after he gets Ray out, Ben admits he didn't see who the thieves were.
*Why did Tammy and Gary stop off at the lake anyway? Surely they needed to get their re-appropriated property back to the lot as soon as possibly.
*Ray must have been feeling generous. Not only does he get in the Comet's trunk knowing that Benny is going to have to drive (gasp!) his beautiful baby Riv, but he raises no verbal objection when Frannie appears and takes over the wheel.
*Gladys is also in An Eye for an Eye, Gift of the Wheelman and Dief's Day Off *Patrick McKenna (Harold on the Red Green Show) plays Gary Redfield.
106 Chinatown *Fraser picks up his napkin twice in the restaurant. *When Fraser is tasting the fingernails, his handkerchief moves from one end of the table to the other. Then he takes it out of his belt pouch. *Alex Carter, better known as Agent Ford appears in several other episodes: Heaven and Earth, All the Queen's Horse, Red White or Blue and Dead Guy Running *Side nudge Agent Deeter (Mark Meylymick) appears in several other episodes along with Agent Carter: Heaven and Earth, All the Queen's Horse, Red White or Blue and Dead Guy Running.
107-8 Chicago Holiday *Fraser uses the communal bathroom down the hall in Diefenbaker's Day Off, yet this time, what usually is a closet is now a bathroom. *In part one, Christina's room is number 1823, and is 1832 in part two.
*This little peice of information comes from imbd.com : The leather bar is actually the set of 'The Raven', Janette's nightclub from the television series "Forever Knight".
*Welsh arrives on the crime scene with Esther Pearson. They are dressed up to the nines, ready for a night out. It certainly looks like a date yet how can it be when Horses established that our good Lieutenant is married? …unless Esther is his wife?
*For the first time ever, we see a box of tissues on the dashboard of the Rivera. Why? Neither Ray nor Fraser appear to have a cold and anyway we know Fraser carries a hanky - he uses it (in the car) in SLIR to remove his make-up. So why in this episode does a box of Kleenex suddenly materialise on the dash? Could it be (gasp!) to provide (gasp!) a convenient memory-jogger for Fraser??? Was it (gulp!) a plot contrivance!!!????
*Can anyone explain the time scale of this story? All the action without exception takes place in the dark, at night and seemingly on the same night. This cannot be correct because the ball at the end takes place on the evening after the story begins yet the majority of the plot seems to take place during just one night - right up until Fraser falls asleep. When he wakes up again in the hotel room, Christina tells him they have to get moving for the ball.
*Are we further to assume that Fraser got himself into such an exhausted state after just one night of frenzied activity that he crashed out so totally? Please - he's a Mountie! Strikes at the core!
*Christina is handcuffed to the bar by Fraser. Some few minutes later the blonde woman helps her to escape by not only lending the girl her wig but also her clothes. So, to re-cap, Fraser - our observant Mountie - not only fails to notice his charge is gone for some considerable time, he also fails to observe her and her new buddy stripping off and changing clothes.
*Henry, Christina's Taxi Driver, is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list)
109 A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby*Claude comes into Vinnie’s apartment and picks up a little animal toy. He waves it around while he threatens Vinnie. He says ‘Take it like a man,’ we cut to Vinnie then back to Claude and the toy is gone.
*Fraser and Ray bicker about orphanages. The Riv’s window is closed. Ray says ‘Give me the kid,’ and Dief is barking through the open window.
*How does Louise know the Riv belongs to Ray? And if she had tried to attract their attention, like Fraser attests, surely Dief or Fraser himself would have noticed?? Vinnie actually picks up the pacifier by the Riv. Surely when he stood up again he would have been able to see inside the Riv to Jamie? Or, failing that, didn’t he wonder why the pacifier was dropped in that specific place; that is on the road by a parked car?
*Ray obviously forgot to lock his pride and joy again and whee did that spare seat belt Fraser wraps round the car seat appear from – I doubt it is a standard fixture of a 1971 Buick Riviera.
*Where did Benny find sphagnum moss in Chicago? I don’t think the plant is indigenous to the area somehow! Or did he just happen to have some on his person when he left Canada? [This one may sound fine to some folks, but sphagnum moss is just the common bog moss that is found not only in bogs, but ponds, lake edges…so yes, it could have been found in the park. WW]
*Ray changed coats after the Dairy Mart scene, but why did Fraser change into his brown uniform?
*Dief lip-reads ‘Room 6.’ Not only is that remarkable but the wolf can count and recognise the symbol ‘6’ as being the same thing as the word ‘six’. Also the cleaning lady has only just finished tidying the room when Vinnie arrives, despite the fact it is quite late at night.
*How did Claude know that Vinnie had gone to the motel? Or Ray and Fraser for that matter. Ray has to go and get the Riv so there is no way they could just follow them.
*Fraser changes jackets again. You can see the uniform shirt beneath but suddenly he has swapped the brown tunic for his leather jacket. Did they stop off at his apartment or did he conveniently have the jacket in the Riv?
*Off to the airport…how did Dief get there?
*Where do Fraser and Ray think they are going right at the end of the episode? It’s a runway, guys! *Degas is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list) *Donald Fleckser who plays the motel clerk also plays Donald in Manhunt.
110 Gift of the Wheelman *You can see Ray's stunt double when they are chasing Porter. Look for the scene where the wheel flies over the road, it's the next scene. *Why are they still bringing in suspects [I said elves you moron ... as they bring in Elvis's] when in an earlier scene Elaine gives them the Donnelly's name *Gladys is also in An Eye for an Eye, Pizza and Promises and Dief's Day Off
111 You Must Remember This *Why is Suzanne giving Ray mouth to mouth and doesn’t she know you don’t more an injured person? *When they are chasing Suzanne's car, you can clearly see the arc of the Canadian National Exhibition. Right after Fraser says, "You slow down, she'll slow down." *Where did Fraser get/take a photo of Victoria *The paramedic, George Edgar is also the Battalion Cmdr in Burning Down the House *The undercover cop is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list)
112 Hawk and a Handsaw *Akua Tuta is the song. It's sung by Kashtin. More info on the group can be located on the main index under Nations. Akua Tuta means 'take care' in Innu and refers to taking care of yourself, the environment and others
*Walter Sparks (HAAH) and Denny Scarpa (Odds) both took short walks along the same ledge of the same building. *On the bus, Fraser points out the bride, the sun is shining and the ground is dry, they get off the bus near the bridge it’s not only cold and snowing but the ground is very white *Aaron Tager plays Nelson. In We Are The Eggman he is Bert Block and Tom in Eclipse *Tyrone Benskin plays Mr. Shawl. He is Jeff Storey in Easy Money *Father Behan makes his first appearance. Ray and Behan meet for the first time. I bring this up because in The Deal, Fraser is part of the choir (along with Frannie) and Ray is trying to find Behan choir members. In Victoria's Secret Fraser is in the confessional with him. Just interesting is all.... *Ray refers to Esther Pearson as "The Ice Maiden"

116 The Blue Line *Mark hits Fraser in the right temple with a wine bottle
117 The Deal *Father Behan makes his first appearance in Hawk and a Handsaw. Ray and Behan meet for the first time. I bring this up because in The Deal, Fraser is part of the choir (along with Frannie) and Ray is trying to find Behan choir members. In Victoria's Secret Fraser is in the confessional with him. Fraser isn't Catholic from Catherine: the hymn is "O Perfect Love" *In the script Joey Padduci is Joey Paglia * *The woman at the Luxington Hotel is the same person as the woman at bingo front row, left side in Manhunt and the 'Beauty' ribbon wearer next to do Jolly's room in Victoria's Secret. *. .
118 Invitation to Romance [TYK Ruthie] when Catherine answers the door and talks to Fraser, she puts her hand over the earpeice, not the mouthpeice, which is what she should have covered *Fraser is joking? Don't see that very often *Eric Fink, the marriage clerk is also the Maitre D in Diefenbaker's Day Off *Timm Zemanek playing the Desk Clerk is also in Mojo Rising as Aaron Gobrah

Adams, the kidnapper. He is in two other episodes. Devereaux in The Wild Bunch and Sam Franklen in Ladies' Man
120-1 Victoria's Secret *Father Behan makes his first appearance in Hawk and a Handsaw. Ray and Behan meet for the first time. Ray tries the knob, then starts to kick in the door *Ray again refers to Esther Pearson as "The Ice Maiden" (first time in Hawk and a Handsaw) *Fraser has milk at the diner, and again in The Edge. In Dief's Day Off he unpacks it from his shopping and puts it it the cupboard. Yes, the cupboard...after all he is a mountie... *The woman wearing the 'Beauty' ribbon in the room next to Jolly's is the same woman at bingo front row, left side in Manhunt and is also in Deal - at the Luxington Hotel. *The cab driver is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. The bullet is still there. *[TYK Ruthie] when Fraser is trying to get Jill to call him while she's in the doctor's office, first the phone is on the bed and then when he wheels himself to the window in his wheelchair. Cut to ZJill, when they cut back to Fraser, the phone is now on his lap. Cut to Jill, cut back to Fraser and the phone rings, it's back on the bed again. *[TYK Ruthie] in one scene Dief has a bandage around his neck from when he was shot by Victoria. In the next, it's not.
123 North *Fraser calls for Dief to board the plane and the deaf wolf comes. *Fraser says schedule the American way (in The Man Who Knew Too Little he says it the British way) *When Ray grabs Fraser to keep him from going over the cliff, they fall to the ground. Ray falls to the right of Fraser. Fraser's watch is on the right wrist and the stetson is in his left hand. Compass goes over, now Ray is on Fraser's left, the watch is on the left wrist and the stetson is in the right hand. *Those are meal worms under the rock *Ray uses an axe to cut down trees, yet when they fall, they don't break where he was chopping
*[TYK Robin]Did you ever notice toward the end of that ep, that when Fraser and Ray are running toward the raft while Ray is telling the camping story, Fraser puts out his arm to avoid a branch hitting his face, when he's supposed to be blind?
*[More from Robin]I'm pretty sure that the tree from which Ray is supposed to be gathering cedar roots (when building the raft) is not a cedar tree (which has rough, shredded bark).
*[More from Robin]If Fraser still has a bullet in his back from being shot in "VS", Ray probably shouldn't be putting his knee into Fraser's back at the riverside (when Fraser "finds his legs")!
*[and one more from Robin]Toward the beginning of the episode when Ray discovers Fraser's head wound I could swear the wound moves around slightly on Fraser's forehead.
*Red Green from the Red Green show plays Duff Hamish. See if you can find him. *Look for the hunter, Ed, Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. I didn't know this: for them to bring the train into USA, they'd need to pay each railway they trail on for the use of the tracks. Tracks are owned by various railways. even the statons. Union stations are owned by more than one railway
137 Body Language *A rarity -- Huey is shot in the shoulder *Ordover's Thug is Kevin Rushton, one of the stuntmen in Free Willie, A Cop, A Mountie and A Baby, You Must Remember This and One Good Man. He also appears in 10 other episodes (please see Who's Who in due South for a complete list)
138 The Duel *Ray in Welsh’s office, Fraser is eavesdropping. Next scene, Fraser is questioning Kelly, he is wearing jeans and plaid jacket, cut back to Ray still in office. Did Fraser rush home to change before going to Kelly’s? *The number of stars on Fraser's uniform sleeve is now three, not the two in other episodes. Does this mean he's been promoted sharp-shooting wise? [Robert Fraser has 5 stars] Ray driving to Benny's apartment where Frannis is. One shot he's not speaking, in the next he's talling Frannie to pick up the phone. He is wearing different closthes. Real reason for that is David's father passed away so he took a short leave --Something to check - script vs episode. what were the changes if any?
139 Red, White or Blue *The truck driving into a military depot might look familiar to you. If you pay attention you’ll see that Suzanne and Bodine are in it. YMRT *Shawn Wright plays Mountie Cooper in this episode and is Mountie number nine in All The Queen's Horses. *Fraser tells Dief to steal the bag from the Bolt brothers, he does but he wasn't looking at Fraser whe he was given the order. *Alex Carter, better known as Agent Ford appears in several other episodes: Chinatown, Heaven and Earth, All the Queen's Horse and Dead Guy Running *Side nudge Agent Deeter (Mark Meylymick) appears in several other episodes along with Agent Carter: Chinatown, Heaven and Earth, All the Queen's Horse and Dead Guy Running * A big thanks to Kelley for this thought: The bailiff calling the case clearly says "the State of Illinois v. Randall K. Bolt." OK, this makes sense. Ray is a member of the Chicago PD and, if he made the arrest, then the trial would be "the State of Illinois v. Randall K. Bolt." BUT, Ray was outside his jurisdiction-- the city limits of Chicago. So, he couldn't make the bust. However, maybe the FBI made the arrest (after all, they were working the case in "All the Queen's Horses"). Well, then the case would be "the United States v. Randall K. Bolt" (but, the prosecution in a federal case is called "the government" or "the United States," not "the state" as the judge called it). The FBI is a federal agency. Their arrests are tried in federal court. The seal behind the judge in the courtroom IS the seal of the Northern District of Illinois, a FEDERAL court. So maybe the FBI did make the arrest. The charge "advocacy of the overthrow of the government of the United States by force or violence" is a federal crime. It would be tried in a district court. BUT, "Tracy Wightman" (the reporter outside the courthouse) identifies it as the "state courthouse" in downtown Chicago. So, which is it, a federal court or a state court?
140 Flashback *Fraser is hanging off the van, he is wearing one black glove in one shot, but not the rest of the time. * Also from Kelley: A close look at the closing credits show that the highlights were identified as coming from numbered shows, not episodes with titles. Did the episodes have titles when the show was on CBS? I don't think so. Perhaps, the episodes never had titles. In an interview with fans, Paul Gross had trouble identifying episodes by name. He even said that he called shows a variety of names. The other thing. Shows that don't name episodes usually number the shows in the hundreds (i.e., the first would be #101, the first in the second year would be #201) because a TV year is anywhere from 13 to 26 shows. Using hundreds makes numbering easier. But "Due South" just numbered the shows #1, #2, etc. Different...
Fraser: How many bullets do you have left?
Ray: One (bang) I'm not shooting my car for you. I blew up the last one and I'm not doing it again.
Fraser: No actually that's not what I had in mind.
Ray: Good, cause I wasn't going to do it anyway.
Fraser: Well I know that Ray. What I had in mind was you and I creating somekind of deversion while Katherine made a run for it and slid down that shoot. Unfortunately you're out of bullets.
Ray: I lied.
Fraser: Oh well, in that case do you think you can get a clean shot of the rear bumper?
Ray: No.
I've always wondered what was in the metal container he brings to
Eric. It's cookies. There are more cookies on top of the unit in
front of his stove, as well as a full loaf of bread, and some pasta
in a glass jar. There's a full fruit basket on top of his fridge,
too. In a season one ep (The Wild Bunch, I believe), he has some sort
of thick granola-type bars on his counter, plus a box of what looks
like Froot Loops on the unit in front of his fridge.
